September 10, 2024 - MIT Lincoln Lab Conference Center
Low Observable Historical Discussions
Dave Hamilton, President of POLARS (Pioneers of Low Observables and Related Survivability)
What is currently planned are three individual sessions on the afternoon of 10 Sep at MIT - Lincoln Laboratory.
The first session will be focused on early testing of TACIT BLUE. The second session is on working in the innovative environment of the Skunk Works in the context of delivering the F-117, and the last session is planned to cover a more recent activity. The speakers for each event will only be permitted to attend their particular session. The security constraints are that the speakers are being allowed to present observations from their recollections and the conduct of the attendees is being guided to not present new information to the speakers. Such events have been conducted before in different locations. This is the first time in this venue, so we are all learning to adapt to the guidance. As usual with "first times" we are all learning how to smooth the rough challenges.
